(I know, that’s one heck of a name.)The mouthful of a device is actually a contender against the Magic Mouse; considering it’s known as “The world’s first Dual-Purpose Mouse.”

The Xenon Mouse transitions between both mouse pad and touchpad modes. Its mode selection switch helps alternate between click functions with touch scrolling and using the multi-touch surface with click functions still existent as an available option.

The mouse has somewhat of an odd design, when compared to your everyday mouse, yet sustains a sleek new look for users. It supports 1,000dpi (dots per inch) resolution, several multi-touch gestures, a 10 meter (30 feet) working distance from its base computer, uses a laser tracking system, weighs 68g, is supported by Windows 98/2000/ME/XP 32bit/ Vista/ Win 7, and comes with the exclusive Aviva Painter™ software, which allows the mouse to be used for editing, notes, etc. ( and its multi-touch gestures can be personalized through the Aviva software).

This might be interesting for those of you who’ve used iMacs (and enjoyed the experience of the Magic Mouse) or are apt to PCs and are interested in purchasing this software accessory.
