You may of heard of the Magic Mouse, a.k.a. “The
world’s first Multi-Touch Mouse”, but have you heard of the Gigabyte
Aviva Xenon Mouse? (I know, that’s one heck of a name.)The mouthful of a
device is actually a contender against the Magic Mouse; considering it’s known
as “The world’s first Dual-Purpose Mouse.”
The Xenon Mouse transitions
between both mouse pad and touchpad modes. Its mode selection switch helps
alternate between click functions with touch scrolling and using the
multi-touch surface with click functions still existent as an available option.
The mouse has
somewhat of an odd design, when compared to your everyday mouse, yet sustains a
sleek new look for users. It supports 1,000dpi (dots per inch) resolution, several
multi-touch gestures, a 10 meter (30 feet) working distance from its base computer,
uses a laser tracking system, weighs 68g, is supported by Windows
98/2000/ME/XP 32bit/ Vista/ Win 7, and comes with the exclusive Aviva Painter™ software, which allows the mouse to be used
for editing, notes, etc. ( and its multi-touch gestures can be personalized
through the Aviva software).
This might be
interesting for those of you who’ve used iMacs (and enjoyed the experience of
the Magic Mouse) or are apt to PCs and are interested in purchasing this software accessory.
I would like to see how it feels to play some of my games with that kind of mouse. The fact that I don't even use a mouse to play some games in my laptop its going help me a lot because the last to wireless mouses that I used broke easily and don't last very long.
ReplyDeleteIt is an interesting thought.
DeleteGigabyte (http://www.gigabyte.us/products/list.aspx?s=50&p=197&v=8&ck=14),
the company that made the dual-mode touch mouse also produces their own line of mice for games too. Maybe this information will be helpful for any gaming demands, but then again I am not aware of the quality of their gaming mouse line of production.
It is always good to reference. Here are some ideas as to where you might be able to be adequately assisted:
Maximum PC (http://www.maximumpc.com/tags/gaming_mouse) or
Everythingusb (http://www.everythingusb.com/gaming-mice.html)
aside from just Googling (https://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&sclient=psy-ab&q=gaming+mouse+reviews&oq=gaming+mouse+reviews&gs_l=hp.3..0l4.173890.173890.2.174162.1.1.0.0.0.0.156.156.0j1.1.0...0.0...1c.oaoYvmW480E&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=f3c5fef7c285b366&biw=1) the topic.
This mouse sounds interesting because it will most likely be the way of the future. It's interesting to see how much the technological aspect of computers is continuously changing and improving.
